	2 X SALT After School Mentoring	The purpose of 2XSALTâ�™s after-school ministry is to share and model Christ to youth in the communities surrounding JPM, primarily using the vehicles of organized sports and recreation. The gymnasium and adjoining facilities at Jackson Park provide a safe, positive and healthy environment for youth during the often risky afternoon hours. While JPM historically has offered an open gym time in the afternoons for neighborhood youth, 2XSALT will seek to build on this program by organizing age-appropriate sports and recreational activities as well as daily Bible lessons and discussions for different age groups.
